Client: describing a series of 'experiences', and their 'interpretations' or 'assessments' - related to self and the world (including perceptions or interpretations about their body, career, family, friends), and accounts of his/her past, present and future (including emotions and moods attached to these) - specifically related to expectations, standards, feeling stress-overwhelmed-burdened, unhappy and sadness
Coach: spending time observing, listening, exploring and diving deeper in the client's assessments, interpretations and moods, and how this is embodied (examining use of language, speech, tone, emotion, and posture)
then exploring what client views as life priorities; what balance means; their understanding of happiness and meaning - and then introducing three powerful ideas - 'creativity, control and impact'
Practices between coaching sessions: build on daily morning, during the day, and end of day exercise in CoachingConversationNo3. Specifically focused on small steps that client can make to express their creativity, assert agency and control in their life, and start making small steps to have an impact on how they see the world, use language, feel about themselves, their world and time, and anchor these changes to create and impactful changes. Building on practice of making small, incremental, cumulative steps on a regular, daily basis introduced in CoachingConversationNo4.
