The Journey 'Is" the Outcome, Who and What we Are, and are Becoming, the Path, the Training Process 'is' the Outcome and Goal

The training 'and' practice 'process', repetitive, repeated, cumulative, additive, iterative, circular, reflective and with feedback, 'is' the goal. Crossing a 'finish' line, or attaining a milestone, is a mental construct. A product of finite thinking. Life (and 'careers') are not finite games, but infinite ones, with no 'winner'(s). A growth (as opposed to limited) mindset is focused on the journey, the process, and path, as 'the' goal and outcome. Who we are becoming, and are; rather than superficial appearances, labels or titles.

Review — ‘The Mosaic Principle’ (Financial Times, February 14, 2017)
"Most people are tied to the idea that they have to move up or forward, but I wanted to bust that myth. Think of other images, like a "Ferris wheel," which is always rotating; or a "portfolio" career, which includes a lot of different elements; or a "lattice" career, which can go in many directions......I am hopeful about what lies ahead. But the burden is on the job seeker to do the work. You have to pivot, and reskill, and figure out how to manage your time and stress levels. None of this is easy, but the opportunities will come for people who want them."
